The main conference theme for this year’s edition is “Finance for a Better Society: Inclusion, Financial Literacy, Digitalization, and the Green Transition.” This focus aims to highlight the evolving role of finance as a transformative force for social and economic progress. The discussions will focus on how financial system can actively foster societal well-being through inclusion, literacy, innovation and sustainability, and how financial services can contribute to reducing inequalities, empowering individuals and businesses, and supporting long-term goals.
However, the conference will maintain its traditionally generalist approach, encompassing all areas of banking and finance. Thus, we would be pleased to receive submissions which cover multiple areas of the field, such as:

Some topics covered in the scientific work of Marco Onado, one of the founders of Wolpertinger, are particularly welcome for submission:
- Transformed intermediation: banks, markets and NBFI
- Transparency and ethics in financial markets
- Regulation and behaviour of financial intermediaries
We kindly encourage Ph.D. students to submit their papers (whose subject matter may relate to any of the topics specified in the general call) to join our “Marco Onado Ph.D. sessions”, in memory of Prof. Marco Onado. PhD papers should be submitted in the section dedicated to them on the conference website.
